Shannon has been an animal lover from the time she was a little girl. Growing up, Shannon’s family had a menagerie of pets including horses, pot-bellied pigs, ferrets, exotic birds, a monkey and many, many dogs.
Shannon moved from Texas to Boulder 17 years ago and earned a degree in Sociology from the University of Colorado. She loves nothing more than taking her pooch Maggie for long hikes on the trails around her home outside of beautiful Nederland, Colorado.
When she has enough energy left after a day of hiking and caring for her four-legged clients, Shannon enjoys Nordic and tele skiing, and riding any of her stable of bikes!

From the time Heather could check out her own library books she would be found in the corner with 17 different dog breed books.
Her dog Sunny is a wire-hair pointer who is crazy about pheasants. And squirrels. |

Diane moved to Colorado over 30 years ago and loves the beautiful Colorado blue skies. She is originally from the Philadelphia area where it was grey & rainy on many days. When Diane retired after many years working at a computer company, she promised herself that she would be outside every day to enjoy the sun days (and the occasional rain and snow days). Now, she enjoys daily hikes on the Boulder trails with both canine and human friends, gardening, and x-c skiing.
Diane has adopted Cookie, a young mostly-Labrador stray from Kansas, from the Humane Society. Cookie is an active lady who loves to chase tennis balls and swim in the Boulder reservoir and various streams along the trails.
